Double O Joe

An “almost native”, Joe O’Neill came to California from Philadelphia when he was too young to remember. He studied art at Santa Monica College and San Francisco Art Institute (BFA1994). He is a working artist, which means he works for a living. To buy paint he has a been a muralist, roadie, and a ditch digger, among other things. Joe paints in a shack in Los Angeles.
